No matter if you are a doctor, a lawyer, or an infantry army soldier, if you want to be the best, you need to take risks. A doctor, for instance, may have to take risks in treating a patient with a rare disorder. If the procedure is successful, the doctor will have discovered the technology to save lives in the future. A lawyer may have to take an unorthodox approach to arguing a case in front of a jury. Remember the late, great, lawyer Johnny Cochran took the risk of having O.J. Simpson attempt to put the blood stained glove on his hand in his murder defense. He then came up with a theme which would remind the jurors of the reasonable doubts raised by the glove. "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit". Additionally, a soldier may have to risk being hit by sniper fire in order to rescue a fallen comrade, to complete a mission, or just reach a secure area.
